Werkheiser Electric

I have used Werkheiser Electric for a number of jobs at my house over 20 years, including pool electrical, circuit breaker and branch circuit expansion and recently installation of 3 wired smoke detectors. Their workmanship, service and the knowledge of the electricians (most recently, Steve U.) has always been excellent.

Battery was dying on a hard wired smoke alarm. Continuous chirping was coming from it was quite annoying. Called my electrician. He could come out asap and did. Was on time. Got the job done lickety split and had reasonable pricing to boot. Check them out!

I cannot recommend Werkheiser Electric highly enough. After a catastrophic experience with a previous contractor that left my home with significant electrical damage and limited power, Phil and his team stepped in and saved the day. Phase 1: The Rescue. Mark and Steve were incredibly professional, working diligently to repair the previous damage and safely restore power to my house. They also installed new recessed lighting and outlets in my basement. Their work ethic and attention to detail gave me immediate peace of mind. Phase 2: The Innovation. I struggled to find any electrician in the Lehigh Valley willing to install a ThermaRay Radiant Ceiling system. While it was a new technology for them, Phil was willing to collaborate with the distributor to ensure everything was scoped and handled correctly. By the time Steve and Zach arrived for the install, they had already studied the guides and videos. They executed the installation and testing of the panels perfectly—without a single hitch. Phase 3: The Rough-ins. They have handled the rough-ins for fans, outlets, and switches with the same level of precision, and I look forward to having them back to finish the project once my

We just moved in and needed a generator hookup as well as some miscellaneous fixups. I picked these guys because I saw their truck at my next-door neighbor's house and I thought "Werkheiser" sounded like some German electrical conglomerate. Imagine my surprise when they turned out to be a local family (one guess as to the last name) and just a good bunch of folks. They were straight with me, let me know when something I wanted didn't make sense to pay them to do, and were professional and respectful of our home, leaving everything finished and looking good. The owner came out to give us the initial quote and clearly was familiar with all the local codes and experienced enough to know exactly what was needed. The techs who did the actual work, Mark and Kedaar, were careful and considerate and did fantastic, clean work all around. I can say for sure I'd hire them again - in fact I have them coming back out to quote me on more work I'd like done. It's so good to know a reliable contractor when you have a new house you need to make into a home! Werkheiser is a great choice. Thanks, neighbor-I-don't-even-know!

We bought a house that had old knob and tube wiring that needed to be addressed on our second floor. Steve and Kedaar did a wonderful job addressing this issue as well as adding new grounded outlets. They actively found ways to get the job done while saving us money each step of the way. Prices were very fair and the team is knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend if you're looking for electrical work.
